NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Freedom’s Just Another Word For Nothin’ Left To Lose

 

Italy granted a national pardon to 12,000 non-violent prisoners, who must stay out of trouble for five years or the pardon will be revoked. Two prisoners, Massimiliano Formula, 32, and Raimondo Muntoni, 28, didn’t even make it to the first 24 hours. They went to a bar and partied so boisterously that police had to be called; the two then brawled with the officers when asked to produce their papers. They are now awaiting a new trial.
