NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: He Was A Marked Man
EMTs Joseph McGuire, 38, and José Martinez, 43, were outside Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn when Rocky Collazo, 28, asked them where he could find a doctor, the New York Post reports. When McGuire saw the tattoo of a crown that Collazo was sporting on his neck, he knew that he had come face-to-face with a man who was wanted in a string of knifepoint livery-cab robberies in The Bronx between Aug. 5 and Sept. 14. The EMTs called 90th Squad detectives, who collared Collazo just as he was being kicked to the curb for hassling the doctors.
