WHAT A HEEL!: Mayor Gets Into Hot Water
Just three months before his term as mayor of Waldron, AR, was up, Troy Anderson, 72, was forced to resign after two women who owed money to the local water utility accused him of soliciting sex in exchange for keeping their water flowing. One of the women had sex with Anderson, the other cooperated with the police to record her conversation with the mayor. The Dem, who had been charged back in May with two counts of abuse of public trust, a felony, and four counts of patronizing a prostitute, a misdemeanor, has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
