WHAT A HEEL!: A White Tablecloth Christmas


Last Christmas, Georgian Wendell Jerome Herman Rogers II, 33, got into a nasty fight with his wife in front of their two young children, then tried to stop her from calling the police. Charged with family violence battery, he was sentenced by Chief Superior Court Judge Sidney Nation to treat his family to Christmas dinner this year at one of Atlanta’s ritziest restaurants to make up for ruining their holiday last year. In addition to the dinner, Rogers was given a 12 month sentence - suspended while he attends an anger management course - and fined $1,000. The dinner tab is expected to run at least $300, and Rogers has to submit a receipt to the court by Jan. 5.
