NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Crash Test Dummy

A 20-year old woman taking the road test to get a driver's license was pulling into a parking spot outside the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Portage, IN, when she hit the accelerator instead of the brake, sending her car smack into the building. A large glass plate window was taken out, a door and low brick wall were damaged and someone in the building suffered a hip injury, according to Assistant Fire Chief Mike Bucy. The driver's car had damage to its hood and fenders, and the building was reopened the next day. Though the driver and examiner were unhurt, she failed her road test.
