WHAT A HEEL!: Those Girl Scouts Are Really Tough Cookies


The Drifting Dunes Girl Scout Council filed 11 small claims against deadbeat parents and guardians who it claims owe $500 to $1,000 each in unpaid cookie sales. The cases, filed in Indiana’s Lake and Porter Counties, accuse the greedy grownups of not turning over money owed to several scout troops for hundreds of boxes of Thin Mints, Samoas and Trefoils they received but allegedly never paid for.
