NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: My Space, Your Stuff


Perhaps two teenage brothers from Apollo Beach, FL, wanted to look their best for a photo they posted on the online social networking site, MySpace.com. So they wore their best bling. There was nothing wrong with the bling – distinctive-looking gold chains – but it wasn’t theirs, and someone who saw the photo apparently tipped off the authorities. In a search of their home, Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies recovered $4,800 in stolen goods, including guns, laptops, jewelry and televisions. The two brothers have been charged with grand theft, and four other suspects face weapons and burglary charges.
