NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: The Clinch Who Stole Nothing


Timothy Clinch, 31, broke into a Laguna Niguel, CA home armed with an 18-inch sword. The homeowner, Robin Ricketts, 52, found him in her home office trying to purloin her PC. Holding the sword to her throat, Clinch told Ricketts that he had tied up her husband – then ran outside, believing the husband had escaped. Knowing that her spouse was asleep upstairs, Ricketts locked Clinch out of the house. It was a cinch for the cops to find Clinch hiding behind an SUV nearby. Clinch was charged with burglary, kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon. He allegedly had narcotics in his system - which explains a lot.
