NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: Fence Plowing Makes Brows Furrow

Bored teens in suburban Suffolk County, LI, are getting their kicks by running head first into fences at top speed to knock them down. Suffolk County police have arrested five teens, ages 15 to 19, on criminal mischief and criminal tampering charges relating to "fence plowing" (video link) incidents that damaged or destroyed fences of 10 homes in Deer Park since last October. Twenty more cases are under investigation. Criminal mischief and criminal tampering are felonies if the damage is $250 or more.

    Stiletto,

The Hairy Beast is pleased to find another third-person blogger on the internet. The Blogosphere is a swamp of "I", which is why The Beast decided to write in the third person. But it's not always easy, as he is sure you have noticed, sentences that should be simple to compose get quite tangled when pushed through a third-person sieve. It is particularly difficult to cope with the issue of passive vs active narrative voice.

You do quite well at it. The Beast is happy he has have discovered your blog and looks forward to returning often.

Thanks! Yes, grammar does get tricky from time to time but that's the price we pay for being different. Where do you blog? The Stiletto would like to check you out, too.

      Stiletto,

One need only click on the name above this comment, presumably. But the web address (just in case it does not work) is:
