WHAT A HEEL!: The Prize For Being “Pimp Of The Year?” 23 Years.
Matthew "Knowledge" Thompkins , 37, of The Bronx (AKA "Pimp of the Year") was sentenced to more than 23 years in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Freda Wolfson after pleading guilty to conspiracy to transport minors – as young as 14 years old – across state lines to engage in prostitution and conspiracy to engage in money laundering. In a letter to the judge begging for leniency, Thompkins wrote that he and the hos had "bonded as a family." After pointing out, "You wouldn't send your sister or your daughter out to do that," Wolfson threw the book at him.
