NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: When You Gotta Go, You Gotta … Shoplift?
Helen Gallo, 61, of Clearwater, FL, was arrested after allegedly shoplifting from a grocery store in Cape Coral. The Daily Breeze of Cape Coral reports that she told authorities that she could not wait in line because she has irritable bowel syndrome. Gallo was charged with petit larceny and released on a $500 bond. As far as The Stiletto knows, kleptomania and IBD are completely unrelated maladies so if she takes that story to court, the judge is likely to be plenty irritated.
