NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: No More Hope For Glendora In Small Claims Court

Public-access TV personality Glendora ("A Chat With Glendora"), has repeatedly sued Cablevision in small claims court in New York "for purposes of oppression or harassment." Her latest action, Glendora v. Savarino, alleging that a Cablevision employee "poisoned" the minds of her sponsors, was dismissed by Yonkers Civil Court Judge Charles D. Wood because the 360 handwritten pages of documentation she submitted was "completely irrelevant," including: Numerous copies of a 60-year-old photo of her and Bob Hope, sheet music, a drawing of Judge Peter Lane in Rye City Court in 2004 and an account of a near-miss with a deer on the Taconic State Parkway. From now on, the court clerk has to get approval from a judge before accepting subsequent small claims filings from Glendora.
