GOODY TWO SHOES: Sheryl Crow Better Stock Up On Diaper Wipes
Sheryl Crow, who wants to fight global warming one square of TP at a time, has announced on her blog that she adopted a baby boy, whom she has named Wyatt, born two weeks ago. Congratulations to Crow on becoming an adoptive mother – something that would not have been possible had his birth mother chosen abortion. (PS The Stiletto hopes that Crow doesn’t try to toilet train Wyatt too early, just to cut down on the staggering number of diaper wipes she will have to use over the next couple of years.)
Now's the time for Sheryl Crow to show what she's made of. With this baby she needs to either use cloth diapers or hold the baby over a can to compost all the leakage. If she goes for the cloth diapers route, if she has a diaper service or nanny wash the diapers, she loses all credibility with me. Nope. Sheryl has to get into the diapers (with cold "gray" water) and wash them herself to prove that conservation isn't only for the non celebs. Oh yes, and she has to use biodegradeable soaps. Sheryl will be the one with the kid wearing gray diapers. And we'll love her for it. If Sheryl does all that, she and the kid can visit. We have a 40000 sq ft house, plenty of room. The maids can wash her and the diapers. I'll put car seats in all my SUVs so she can pick her ride.
