WHAT A HEEL!: Rutgers Resident Advisor Arrested

Christa Olandria and George Calhoun, both 23-year old seniors at Rutgers University, were arrested and charged with burglarizing a room in the Lynton Towers dormitory at the school’s Livingston (NJ) campus where Olandria was a resident adviser. According to police, a student returned to the seventh-floor room to find Calhoun shoving a laptop computer, digital camera, iPod and wallet into a duffel bag; Olandria was right outside the room. University police are also investigating whether the pair was behind other burglaries in the dormitory. Until the incident, Olandria was senior class president; she has since been stripped of the honor, and has been barred from graduation. The New York Times reports that, "Fifteen resident advisers are assigned to live in Lynton Towers, receiving free room and board - valued at about $8,000 this year - in exchange for providing support services for students."
