WHAT A HEEL!: Fiancée Fakes Abduction

Bride-to-be Sara White, 20, got cold feet. Not about her wedding scheduled next April, but about meeting a man she met on a phone chat line in a Sacramento, CA, park for a date. So she called him from her home and told him that while sitting in the park she had been kidnapped. After her date called the police, 60 officers went looking for her. White continued the ruse when police reached her on her cell phone, telling them she had been hit on the head and dragged into the trunk of a car. She was arrested and spent two nights in jail, and is looking at a misdemeanor charge of abusing emergency dispatch services

The Stiletto admits she is of two minds about this story. On the one hand, White is clearly a heel for sending so many officers on a wild goose chase, potentially delaying police response to a real crime or emergency. On the other hand, her intended is not the sharpest knife in the drawer since he plans to marry her even though she is trolling phone chat lines looking to set up dates with other men, and is a bald-faced liar.

In the end, The Stiletto decided that White’s actions could potentially have caused injury or death to someone in need of police assistance so she is putting this story in the "What A Heel!" category. Discuss.
