WHAT A HEEL!: Teacher Accused Of Charging Students To Get Out Of Detention


School officials are investigating allegations that a teacher at Quirk Middle School in Hartford, CT, let students buy their way out of detention. One parent who complained says the teacher took $30 to $40 from her son. The teacher was placed on a paid leave of absence while the matter is sorted out.
