NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Man Calls Cops On Cops
Police officers called to check out a commotion at a bar in Largo, FL, encountered one Dana Farrell Shelton, 38, who appeared to be intoxicated. Shelton called 911 and told the dispatcher that he was surrounded by police and was in need of assistance. He was arrested on the spot, and charged with misdemeanor misuse of 911. If convicted, he could spend up to a year in jail and pay $1,000 in fines.
