WHAT A HEEL!: Her Booking Will Be Overdue
A library in Fort Smith, AR, was robbed of less than $20 in overdue book fines by "a tall, light-skinned woman who covered her face and head with bandanas," reports The Associated Press. The robber walked into the library, handed the librarian a note, insinuated she was armed and gave the librarian one minute to hand over the loot. She is currently at large. If captured, she faces a felony robbery charge.
Editorial Note: Based on how the MSM typically describes crime suspects, The Stiletto wonders whether AP would have reported the robber’s pigmentation if she had been dark-skinned. Either skin color is a salient detail when reporting a crime story, or it is irrelevant. The MSM can’t have it both ways.
