WHAT A HEEL!: A Sic Story
A rather inebriated 41-year old German fellow in a wheelchair verbally abused, then ordered his Border Collie to attack, a group of shoppers in the town of Karlsruhe. Six people, including a policewoman, were taken to the hospital. It took a group of officers several minutes to subdue the man and his dog, during which time a crowd of people who had not witnessed the earlier attack gathered and were protesting their treatment of a disabled man. It turns out the man only needs the wheelchair temporarily because of an injury. He has been charged with causing bodily harm, resisting arrest, and verbal slander. The dog is in custody at a shelter.
