NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Suspect Arrested In The Last Place Police Expected To Find Him


Police arrested Albert W. Smith, 39, on charges that included burglary, conspiracy and theft in a string of recent gas station heists in NJ. But he wasn’t caught in the act at a gas station – he was arrested at a police station when he showed up to deal with a traffic summons. Police recognized him from a from surveillance video photo, when he was recorded him kicking in the door at one gas station and allegedly stealing more than $18,000 in cash.
