NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: URDUMX2 License Plate
Two Reno 20-year-old twin brothers, Chase and Bart Haney, allegedly taunted a fellow fast food diner with anti-Hispanic slurs. According to eyewitness reports, when the aggrieved victim followed the brothers outside, one of them got baseball bat from their pickup truck while the other got a knife. The victim was struck with the bat and stabbed in the leg, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries. The ruffians were quickly apprehended because their truck bore a personalized plate: "BHANEY," which made looking up their address a cinch. They have each been charged on one count of suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon; "a hate crime enhancement was added," reports The Associated Press, "because the two suspected attackers are white."
