WHAT HEELS!: This Company Will Make A Liar Out Of You

So, you want to take the day off to get some errands done, catch up on your sleep or turn a regular week-end into a three-day mini vacay. The trouble is, you’ve used up all your PTO days. What to do? Why not buy a bogus jury summons - or a phony funeral service program that even includes a list of pallbearers - from the Excused Absence Network? For $25 shirkers and slackers can buy legit-looking excuse notes, reports
The Associated Press:

Though the company's disclaimer advises the notes are "for entertainment purposes only," its Web site shows pictures of people sunbathing and playing golf using the fabricated excuses. One testimonial says: "I've managed to take the nine weeks off using these templates! It couldn't be any easier!"

According to AP, one Jersey woman was arrested after using a note purportedly from a chiropractor "to support her claim she was too injured to appear in traffic court for a speeding ticket." When the court called the chiropractor to double-check, they learned he had never treated the woman. No doubt, the court thought her ploy was contemptible.
