WHAT A HEEL!: Larcenous L.I. Lawyer

 

Joseph Levine, 59, of Hewlett, NY, who was disbarred on June 26th, pleaded not guilty to felony grand larceny charges for allegedly depositing into his personal bank account a $300,000 insurance company settlement check from a personal injury client and for allegedly keeping a $10,000 down payment on a home from another client when the deal fell through. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.
