NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Maybe He Just Wanted To Get Out Of Jury Duty

 

When Vladislav Lisetskiy, 40, reported to Brooklyn Supreme Court for jury duty, security officers discovered that his cane concealed a 2½-foot sword and a 6-inch dagger. NY law prohibits concealed blades or knives, and Lisetskiy was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon. The Stiletto doubts this story would have had a different ending if Lisetskiy had walked through the front door of the courthouse holding a sword or a dagger.
