NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Mother Of The Year

Christian publisher Thomas Nelson has shelved a parenting book that's going to have faith elements to it," written by Lynne Spears, who raised troubled pop tart Brtiney, 26, and Jamie Lynn, the 16-year old star of the Nickelodeon show "Zoey 101," who has a bun in the oven. Tentatively titled, "Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," the book was to have been published in 2008 on Mother's Day, reports Reuters. The pop culture mom may have been paid by OK! Magazine for the pregnancy exclusive, and celebrity Web site TMZ.com reports that Jamie Lynn will get a cool $1 million from OK! for a photo shoot when the baby is born. Meanwhile, Brit opted not to read her mother’s book in manuscript and is taking parenting classes, court-ordered random drug and alcohol testing and is locked in a bitter custody dispute over her two sons with ex-husband K-Fed. Here’s a “faith element” for Lynne Spears and her family to contemplate: You cannot serve both G-d and Money [Matthew 6:24].
