NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Mother Of The Year: Part II
People magazine divulges what Britney Spears bought for her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James for Christmas:
[J]ust after midnight on Saturday morning [Brit] and … her assistant Carla, left her Beverly Hills home in the singers [sic] Mercedes – its headlights off and trunk open – and made the first of several stops at a Rite-Aid store in Hollywood, where Spears parked in a disabled-designated parking spot.
"I have stuff I have to buy for my babies," Spears told photographers on her way in.
After testing – but not buying – deodorant sprays, she emerged, spending a total of $57.46, with Lucky Charms cereal, Purex laundry detergent, Mrs. Field's chocolate chip cookies and a 32-inch plush horse (regular price $29.99, marked down by 50 per cent) labeled "For ages 4 and up."
Her "babies" … are 2 years and 15 months, respectively.
Lucky Charms are not only loaded with sugar and artificial food coloring, the 15-month old can choke on the marshmallow-candy pieces, and the bargain-priced horse is not age-appropriate for either child because it may also have small parts that could come off and pose a choking hazard. Guess they don’t teach common sense – or how to read warnings on packages – in those parenting lessons Brit’s been taking.
