Someone broke into an Idaho Falls, ID, woman’s car and stole video games, a CD player and a video camera, among other items. The next day, the thief left a videotape message in her mailbox demanding a $3,000 ransom to get some of her stuff back. But the thief forgot to tell the victim where to leave the cash. Although the botched ransom message demonstrates the thief’s ineptitude, the victim and her family are scared because he knows where they live and personal details of their lives – the videotape used for the message included footage of the birth of their baby, reports The Associated Press.
