NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Bank Robber Wasn't Even Plastered

Robert Coulson Lavery, 56, daubed drywall compound on his face
to mask his features and had his buddy, Robert Steven Miller, 53, drive him to Fairview Township, PA, where he held up the New Cumberland Federal Credit Union. The pair made off with $7,910 from the robbery. As luck would have it, someone recognized Miller’s car because of the Rusty Wallace NASCAR plate on the front. When police arrived at Miller’s home, he confessed to helping Lavery commit the crime.
