NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Gonad Gonzo
Derrick Kosch, 25, entered a Kokomo, IN, convenience store brandishing a semiautomatic handgun, grabbed the clerk by the hair and demanded that she fill a white cloth bag with money and cigarettes. As she was getting the cigarettes, Kosch shot himself in his right testicle while stashing the gun in the waistband of his pants. He grabbed the bag and fled the scene. When police caught up with Kosch at his grandmother’s house they arrested him on robbery and criminal recklessness charges and took him to the hospital.
