NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Who Needs Fingerprints When You’ve Got Footprints?
Police responding to a burglar alarm at a Papa John's Pizza in Springdale, AR, found that the door had been kicked in. Footprints in the snow led from the chain pizzeria to the back door of another store in the strip mall, Cecilia's Salon. Police soon caught up with one Bradley T. Hyde, 29, inside Ana's Family Boutique, which he had allegedly entered by climbing through the ceiling of the salon. Hyde was holding an armload of clothing from the store and had $166 on him, which police believe had been stolen from the pizzeria. He was arrested and charged with felony commercial burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanor theft of property and obstructing governmental operations, reports The Associated Press.
