NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Ham Handed

 

Joe Scola, owner of Scola’s Place in Gloucester, MA, found a thief trying to make off with an armload of meat from the restaurant’s freezer. When Scola pried a frozen ham loose from the thief’s grip, the man “raised a five-pound log of frozen Italian meat over his head as if to use it as a weapon,” reports The Associated Press. So Scola smashed the frozen ham into the thief’s face, causing him to drop the meat and make a run for it. Police are still looking for the meat-loving miscreant.
