NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: Loaded Gun Could Become Smoking Gun
Henry Repeating Arms, which manufactures lever-action rifles, accidentally shipped four guns loaded with live ammunition, reports The Associated Press, and is warning gun dealers nationwide about the potential danger. Company president, Anthony Imperato explained that after guns are test-fired in a final quality control check before sale, they are supposed to be inspected to ensure no rounds are left behind. "We have since upgraded our system."

That's why we have the 4 golden of firearms handling:
1. Treat all firearms as if they were loaded.
2. Never point at anything you don't intend to destroy. Muzzle Awareness at all times.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
4. Be aware of the background (the area beyond the target and surrounding it).
*** Keep the weapon on safe until you are ready to fire (for those with a manual safety).
Now, I do admit, Henry firearms manufacturer screwed up but that's why we have these rules...
