NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: The Bride Was Stunning, The Groom Was Stun Gunned
Fabiana Reyes got upset with the band at her wedding reception because she wanted more live music and less DJ. When the band insisted they would play only when the DJ took a break, she “knocked over and damaged the band's conga drums valued at $600, a speaker valued at $350 and other equipment,” reports The (Lower Hudson Valley) Journal News. When police got to the parish hall of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Port Chester, NY, they had to tase both the groom, Elmo Jesus Fernandez, and the bride’s daughter, Helen Fernandez, to subdue them. Reyes was charged with felony criminal mischief and the other two with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors.
