WHAT A HEEL!: Grand Theft From Grand Ma

Chase Caro, 49, of White Plains, NY, pleaded guilty Monday to grand larceny for stealing $310,000 from his grandparents’ trust fund, and was sentenced to 2½ to 7½ years in prison, reports New York Law Journal. Caro, who had been disbarred in November, already pleaded guilty of a second theft from an elderly client of more than $470,000 from another elderly client, and received a concurrent sentence of 2 to 6 years on that count. He also agreed to pay $1.1 million in restitution to these clients, as well as to a third client he had stolen from.
