NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Thief Makes Withdrawal From Sperm Bank
It should be a safe bet that when a man is at a sperm bank, he’s there to make a deposit. But one laboratory technician in India made a huge withdrawal, allegedly stealing 101 vials of sperm. He and a relative then tried to sell them to an infertility doctor for about $625, reports The Associated Press. Infertility expert Dr. Aniruddha Malpani tells AP that, “Anyone would have a hard time selling sperm vials. They must be stored in a liquid nitrogen container.” The two could each be sentenced to seven years in jail if they are convicted of stealing and cheating.
