NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Security Guard Shoots Off His Mouth

 

City of Brotherly Love resident Andre Moore, 44, allegedly posted a video on YouTube demonstrating “how to use a Colt .275 to shoot cops” and instructing viewers, “[w]hen you shoot the cops, you shoot them dead,” reports WPVI-TV (Channel 6, Philadelphia). Moore specifically singles out the 18th district - “I can't stand the 18th district. … Continue killing the 18th district police. I promote violence in Philly. Promote violence in Philly.” - where he has been cited for minor offenses. Moore may be charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and corruption of minors – his 12-year old son was the cameraman. Of the three charges, the first is the most tenuous because no matter how stupid or hateful, Moore’s videotaped rant is protected by the First Amendment and verbally threatening to assault or kill someone isn’t the same as physically carrying out the threat – luckily for Al Sharpton. Ironically Moore is a security guard at Einstein Medical Center, where a police officer died of gunshot wounds six months ago. YouTube has yanked the video.
