WHAT A HEEL!: Waiter, There's A Rat In My Soup
After Debbie R. Miller of Appleton, WI, allegedly found a dead rat in her meal at The Seasons, the haute dining establishment’s insurer smelled a rat when she wanted $500K to keep the incident hush-hush and they called the cops, reports The Associated Press. Testing by Secura Insurance revealed the rodent was a lab rat that had been cooked in a microwave, according to The (Appleton) Post-Crescent. Miller has been charged with one count each of extortion, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.
