WHAT A HEEL!: Cleaning Woman Cleaned Out Clients
Mirian Martinez, 47, had a reputation as a reliable and hardworking cleaning woman, and her business, Arlington, VA-based Mirian Cleaning Services, grew by word of mouth. Now, however, five of her clients in Fairfax, Loudoun and Arlington counties report clothing, jewelry, prescription medications have gone missing - and police arrested her on charges of grand larceny and larceny with intent to sell/distribute after obtaining pawn shop records linking her to stolen items, reports The Washington Post. Police allege she pawned as many as 200 items over the past 14 months, and say other charges against her are pending.
