NOT THE SHARPEST KNIVES IN THE DRAWER: DNC Convention Planners Had A Blind Spot
When Gov. David Paterson (D-NY) spoke at the DNC convention on Wednesday, his remarks were running on a teleprompter. He is blind – and mentioned that fact in his speech, which concerned high unemployment amongst disabled. Convention officials kept the text scrolling on the teleprompter even after it became obvious Paterson could not see the words and had memorized his lines, according to The (New York) Sun.
