Kate McAlpine, 23, is creating a sensation with her YouTube rap about the $3.8 billion Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator that has been built in a 17-mile circular tunnel at the CERN laboratory near Geneva, Switzerland, reports The Associated Press.

To accompany her rap, McAlpine, a science writer who works for CERN, shot video of ferself and friends dancing in the caverns and tunnels where the two beams of proton will smash together at high speed.
