NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Reverse ID Theft

 

Kody Merrival of Iowa City, IA, charged several purchases at various food and retail establishments around town until the card he was using was flagged as having been stolen, reports The Associated Press. Merrival was nabbed by the cops soon after – he had signed his own name on the receipts.
