THE DAILY BLADE: How To Tell If You’re A Closet Racist (For Whites Only)

The conventional wisdom (last item) has it that regardless of party affiliation, in the privacy of the voting booth an unknowable number of Americans will vote for John McCain for no other reason than because Barack Obama is black. Conversely, we already know that 95 percent of blacks will not vote for McCain for no other reason than because Obama is black. White Americans who don’t vote for Obama are expressing racism. Black Americans who don’t vote for McCain are expressing race pride (last item). Understand the diff? The Stiletto doesn’t, either.

In any case, pundits (third item) and pollsters are in a tizzy trying to figure out if there are enough closet anti-black racists to cost Obama the election – they’re apt to lie to poll takers about their true intentions.

And it’s not just pollsters they’re lying to, it’s themselves. What about you? If you can answer “yes” to even one item on this list, you are a racist:

1. Though you and other McCain-Palin supporters would never think of wearing a T-shirt calling Obama a “n****r” you’re a racist if you object to Obama-Biden supporters wearing T-Shirts calling Palin a “c**t.”

2. You wonder whether Tony Rezko or his cronies will go down without taking Obama with them.

3. You disapprove of Obama’s long-standing relationships with race-baiting, divisive, America-hating individuals, such as Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Fr. Michael Pfleger and Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dorn.

4. Given documented allegations of caucus fraud (second item), you are troubled by the Obama campaign giving $800K to ACORN - a group he worked closely with when he was a community organizer - to register people who will vote for him by bribing them with cash and cigarettes and fear this election will be decided by the courts because of voter registration fraud and invalid votes.

5. You are skeptical about Obama’s claim that yours will be among the "95 percent of all working families" that are not going pay higher taxes in order to foot the bill for his expensive economic and healthcare proposals.

6. You lost track of Obama’s flip-flops a long time ago and have no idea what he will do as president.

7. You worry about Obama’s true intentions towards Israel, and the Middle East.

8. You don’t think the presidency is an entry-level job, and have misgivings about Obama being neither tested nor ready.

9. You are a former Hillary supporter who intends to vote for McCain – even though you have received death threats.

10. You are a white blue-collar male.

If you answered “no” to all 10 of these statements, just wait until Obama becomes president - eventually, you will do or say something that will brand you a racist.

The Stiletto Gets Results

A month ago, The Stiletto reported the vile, hate-filled personal attacks that Washington Post readers made against Sarah Palin for choosing to bear a child with Down syndrome and, astonishingly, against the child himself (“That boy IS GOING TO SUFFER HIS ENTIRE LIFE AS A RETARD. WHAT KIND OF MOTHER WOULD DO THAT?”). The Stiletto’s heart breaks thinking of the day when Trig will stumble across these comments – yes, Down syndrome children are highly educable, and most learn to read, write and have the basic math skills needed for daily living – and the effect this wanton cruelty will have on him.

While the WaPo has still not seen fit to remove these comments from its Web site – even though its comment submission guidelines clearly state that “inappropriate content includes any content that … degrades others on the basis of … disability” - the paper has instituted a new comment policy:

We now require commenters to register at washingtonpost.com and sign in before posting. Your MyPost User ID, which you'll be asked to choose if you haven't done so already, will be displayed with your comment. We hope this will encourage more topical, spam-free, and respectful discussions.
