WHAT HEELS: These Allmonds Are Nuts
After Ramona Yolanda Allmond, 84, died last December, her daughter, Kathleen Theresa Allmond, 50, and grandson, Tony Ray, 30, allegedly cremated her remains in a makeshift barbecue pit behind their home and then kept cashing her retirement and Social Security checks. The two have been arrested by Tehama County (CA) sheriffs on suspicion of embezzlement, elder abuse and conspiracy, reports Anorak News. The Stiletto wonders why they haven’t also been charged with abuse of a corpse, considering that they left her body on the bedroom floor for a week before the 17-hour DYI cremation, and that Kathleen Allmond made a necklace out of a piece of her mother’s skull.
