WHAT A HEEL: Unhappy Meal
After Phillip Sherman forgot his cell phone at Fayetteville, AR, McDonald's restaurant, manager Aaron Brummley used the phone to call Sherman’s mother to tell her he would keep the phone safe until her son came back to retrieve it, reports the Northwest Arkansas Times. Shortly thereafter, Brummley used the phone to send a text message to Sherman’s wife, Tina, to tell her that he liked the nude photos of herself she had sent to her husband’s cell phone. The pix were then posted on the Internet. The Shermans allege they had to move after Tina Sherman began getting threatening and harassing text and phone messages, and are suing the McDonald's Corp., the franchise owner and the store manager for $3 million in damages for suffering, embarrassment and relocation costs.
