NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Steal, Drop And Roll
A 49-year-old man who jacked a 3,000-pound ATM from a Leavenworth, KS, credit union with the help of a stolen skid loader thought he could break into it if he dropped the cash machine down a 50-foot embankment. Instead, he rolled down the embankment in the stolen construction vehicle along with the ATM, reports The Associated Press. Police found him trapped inside the banged-up skid loader’s cage and took him to the hospital for treatment.
