WHAT A HEEL: Bringing The Outdoors Indoors
For weeks people in Huntington Beach and Westminster, CA, have had their Christmas decorations stolen from their front yards, and police have now cracked the case of the snatched Santas and filched Frostys, reports The Orange County Register. Vuong Pham, 48, has been arrested and charged with two felony counts of suspicion of receiving stolen property. The Orange County District Attorney’s office says Pham is believed to have stolen $25,000 in holiday and lawn decorations from 17 neighbors – when cops went to his three-bedroom home, they found “room after room of stolen Christmas decorations as well as landscape items such as water fountains, trees and Malibu lights,” according to the paper. Pham could be sentenced to three years and eight months in prison if convicted.
