WHAT A HEEL: Eye-Popping Pill-Popping

Owatonna (MN) Clinic nurse Sue Ann Peterson, 53, has been charged in Freeborn District Court with the felony offense of aggravated uttering a forgery, for allegedly forging the signature of the doctor she works for on prescription forms to get a variety of drugs for herself and her husband, including narcotic painkillers, broad spectrum antibiotics and steroids, reports Pioneer Press. Prescription records obtained by sheriff’s deputies from Walgreens, Snyder Drug, Curts, ShopKo, Hy-Vee, Sterling and Wal-Mart show that Peterson filled 267 prescriptions since January 8, 2008, for a total of 12,003 pills.
