Randy Pratt, 50, and his wife Melissa Pratt, 36, face felony theft and conspiracy charges after a $1,772.50 deposit to the couple’s FNB Bank account was recorded as $177,250, and they withdrew the extra $175K. Randy Pratt tells the Press Enterprise (Bloomsburg, PA) he made an attempt find out what happened, but the bank ignored his inquiry. For her part, Melissa Pratt contends that as a roofing installer her husband - or estranged husband; she seems ambivalent about her marital status - often got large checks so she was unaware that anything was amiss. Considering the money “a gift from G-d,” the Pratts allegedly quit their jobs, donated thousands to charity and were negotiating to buy a house in Orlando, FL, with the rest.
