To use the iPhone, iPod and Blackberry Storm you need to tap or slide the tip of your finger on a touchpad or a touchscreen – which means risking frostbite in the dead of winter when you take your gloves off to scroll through a menu, make a call or answer text messages and E-mails. Proving that every tech problem eventually spawns a solution, 4sight Products Inc has created a glove with electrically conductive gold-colored material on the tip of the index finger and thumb, reports The Associated Press. A patent application has been filed for the Tävo glove, which is expected to retail for $40. One wearer thought the gloves made it easier to handle phone calls but more cumbersome to type text or E-mail messages.
