NOT THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE DRAWER: Still Clueless After All These Years

For some unfathomable reason, (Hanoi) Jane Fonda has started blogging, and decided to take up the case of accused Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff: 


I’ve lost a lot but it’s nothing compared to friends of mine who have lost everything they had because every penny they saved over their entire lifetimes was invested in one of Madoff’s schemes. I read a few days ago that Madoff was complaining that he felt like a prisoner in his own penthouse! I want to shake him till his teeth fall out.

 

This would be the same Jane Fonda who eagerly offered herself as a propaganda tool to the Viet Cong, who tortured P.O.W. John McCain till his teeth got knocked out while he was their “guest” at the Hanoi Hilton.

 

For those who are interested, Fonda will be appearing on Broadway for the first time in 40 years in the drama "33 Variations," which will have a limited run from March 9th through May 24th.  Fonda’s co-stars include Colin Hanks (“Mad Men”) and Samantha Mathis ("Grey's Anatomy").
